“Fashion is what you buy, style is what you do with it.”
Welcome to Minneapolis
Happy Monday, wonderful readers!
As you begin a new week, I wanted to share this look from a wedding I attended this weekend. The wedding was located in Minneapolis, MN and took place on the 50th floor of the IDS Center at Windows on Minnesota. If you are a thrill seeker like myself, you can take a peek out the magnificent glass windows from 775 feet in the sky and get a grand view of the city.
This was my first time to Minneapolis and I definitely recommend a trip to the Mall of America if you ever are in the area. It was a blustery -9 degrees in Minnesota, but I had a wonderful time nonetheless. 🙂
Would you believe I snagged this dress for less than $20 on Shein? I am willing to splurge when I love something; however, I am a firm believer that you can look great and not break the bank. As a note, my purse is also from Shein.
For the most part, I do the majority of my shopping via thrift store boutiques and highly recommend Clothes Mentor if there is one near you. Marshalls, TJ Maxx, and Ross are also full of hidden gems for any special occasion.
As I have gotten older and become more in-tune with myself, I focus primarily on clothing that makes me feel confident and comfortable. Brands and trends are less of a motivating factor for me to purchase an item. No matter where you choose to shop, remember that YOU make the clothes come alive!
